People: RB, CK and myself
Feelings: What I love about NYC: Its bluntness. Tribeca's new food hall, All Good Things is nothing but all good things. If this was ever opened in Japan, they would say how boastful they are for being so painfully direct. At this artisanal market, you will find several excellent vendors like Nunu Chocolates, Orwasher's Bakery, Blue Bottle and Blue Marble. Meats, cheeses and other top quality eats that trigger gastronomical interests are all available at this beautiful space. You can get a plenty of great Brooklyn (and other) food actions here.
Before you even get to an amazing cup of a Blue Bottle coffee, Polux Fleuriste from Upper East Side welcomes you with their dashing bouquets. It is fun to look around their kitschy goodies while the Blue Bottle folks drip your coffee.
For a huge, fluffy and fresh jelly donut ($4.50) to accompany the coffee, Orwasher's Bakery is conveniently located right next to Blue Bottle. The staff fills the donut with farm-fresh jam per order, so the donut is never weirdly soggy or greasy. Since the atmosphere of this market is so relaxed and intimate, we somehow become overly friendly and ask what sort of jelly they have available. We hear, "They are listed on the board."
Out of the five jellies from Beth's Farm Kitchen on the board, we enjoyed the black raspberry jam to fill this fluffy dough. It was not overly sweet, and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out. This may be the best donut in the city, especially if you enjoy more subtle and light flavors.
Compared to Eataly or Chelsea Market, All Good Things is more cozy, intimate and hidden. It is a perfect spot for locals to stop by and grab few things--what you'll end up with will be all good things, of course.

Since I work right here, I try to forget it exists. But, their Italian rainbow cookies are the best I've ever had!
