On March 29th, the Bookstore will be hosting the second annual Taste of Home benefit, hosted by Alexandra Guarnaschelli, Executive Chef of Butter Restaurant and The Darby, and host of Food Network’s Alex’s Day Off.
Also featuring food by:
- Brad Farmerie, Executive Chef of PUBLIC, The Monday Room, Double Crown and Madam Geneva
- Colleen Grapes, Pastry Chef, The Red Cat and The Harrison
- Luis Nieto, Executive Chef, The Palm Tribeca
- And our own Tessa Liebman, Executive Chef of The Works Catering.
This is a wonderful event, and for only $65 it's a steal.

I'm ashamed to admit that I still haven't visited the Housing Works. Are you planning to attend the event? There have been lots of food-related charities in recent years. I'm glad not only chefs are feeding people's stomach, but heart as well.
I haven't decided if I'm attending yet, but it looks really good! I'm a big fan of Housing Works..I highly recommend it!
