Feelings: I think people finally heard my cries of "I can't find a decent non dairy ice cream shop!" I never leave the house without Lactaid, but it is nice to be able to eat ice cream and not worry about if I would be sick on the train back home. And Lactaid could get expensive!
We tried the Mexican spiced chocolate (RB's likes spicy) and chocolate hazelnut flavors (I like anything hazelnut). Although the staff warned us about Mexican spiced chocholate and let us try a spoonful, RB decided to get it. It was so spicy RB's mouth was on fire for five blocks, and he said "It just tasted like chilis!" Chocolate hazelnut was smooth and extremely chocolately, and I could not believe it was actually dairy free. I also like that it was not overly sweet, and I could really enjoy the dense flavors of cocoa and hazelnut.
Stogo also sells my favorite vegan cupcakes from Babycakes, so I am sure to go back there very soon...and this time, I will make sure that RB doesn't get the Mexican spiced chocolate.
